Molly Layden is a Philadelphia-based dance artist, currently living and working in Arezzo, Italy as an Artist-in-Residence at the Accademia dell'Arte.
Originally from Honolulu, HI, she discovered her love of dance at the age of three. Since moving to the East Coast, she has trained in many styles of dance including tap, jazz, ballet, contemporary, and modern. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Media & Communication with concentrations in Dance Performance and Dance Education from Muhlenberg College. In 2023, spent time studying dance at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy under Alessio Trevisani.
Molly is an Associate Dancer with The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble. At Muhlenberg, she performed in a number of faculty and student-choreographed concerts with many choreographers, including Robyn Watson and Tommie-Waheed Evans. Other notable performances include the Koresh Artist Showcase Series and The Arts on Center Stage at Dilworth Park.
